Florance Uwajeneza and Eleonora Curtabbi, seniors at West Texas A&M, finished fifth and sixth overall at the NCAA Division 2 Cross Country Championships at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Wash. Uwajeneza covered the 6-kilometer layout in 20:48.9 and Curtabbi clocked 20:50.2 for West Texas A&M, which achieved 13th place overall with 381 points. Uwajeneza improved from ninth place last season and Curtabbi elevated from 30th last year.
