Layla Almasri, a senior at UC-Colorado Springs, finished 10th at the NCAA Division 2 Cross Country Championships at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Wash. Almasri, who was 12th last year, covered the 6-kilometer layout in 20:54.0 to lead the Mountain Lions to their first podium appearance in 13 all-time trips to the Division 2 final by capturing fourth place overall with 184 points.
