4-Year Vets Pace the Mocs at NCAA Division II National Championships

SPOKANE – Of the seven Florida Southern runners who made the trip to Washington for the 2013 NCAA Division II National Championships, only two had ever run in a race of that magnitude prior to Saturday. At the end of the day, it was those two, seniors Chris Yanichko and David Tomchinsky, who were the Moccasin leaders in the program’s seventh appearance at the national finals. Both of the 4-year veterans ended their careers with personal-best times in the 10K, helping the Moccasins to a 27th-place finish.
