Dillon Powell 1st Place Men's 10K - NCAA D2 Cross Country Championships 2022

Dillon Powell, a sophomore at Colorado School of Mines, won the men's individual title and contributed to the Orediggers winning the team crown at the NCAA Division 2 Cross Country Championships at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Wash. Powell, the reigning men's 10,000-meter outdoor champion, became the first men's cross country winner in program history for the Orediggers by covering the 10-kilometer layout in 29:28.0. Powell led seven All-Americans for the Orediggers, who captured their third team title in eight years by producing the largest margin of victory in the history of the Division 2 men's final with a 43-177 triumph against Wingate. Emporia State held the previous record by defeating Akron by 130 points in 1963. More videos |
