Colorado Mines 1st Place Men's 10K Race - NCAA D2 Cross Country Championships 2019

Colorado Mines captured its first men's national title since 2015 and the second in program history at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Arcade Creek Golf Course in Sacramento, Calif. The Orediggers placed five scorers in the top 20 to prevail by a 57-136 margin over Adams State. Freshman Kyle Moran was fourth, covering the 10-kilometer course in 29:41.9, sophomore Dylan Ko took seventh in 29:54.3, junior Luc Hagen finished 15th in 30:13.5, senior Ben Schneiderman placed 18th in 30:16.5 and junior Jake Mitchem secured 20th in 30:17.3 for Colorado Mines, which also had junior Derek Steele (30:40) in 38th and sophomore Max Sevcik (31:28.7) placing 92nd.
